you should be able to find your local police station at the front of the white pages mate... call them first.... then phone your insurance compnay and let them know....what sort of bike was it... make/colour/rego etc and what area? post it on here and hopefully someone in your area may have spotted it.... sorry to hear about this mate.... it can be devistating I know....
My bad, just saw the bike in your details....yeah get on to the police asap.....

Then have a sit down and get some food or drink into you.... you got someone there with you? shock can do funny things to the ol body....

Post a few pics if you have them. I doubt it was stolen to order, so I would expect it to be on the streets riding around.

Good luck in finding it, and +1 on the insurance.

What a kick in the arse that is. Its never ending the amount of Motorcycles that get stolen these days. I hope the Police can help you with finding it and also finding the low life who thought they had every right to take it from you. Mungrels.:bash::bash:

thanks for the support guys, sorry i didnt reply anymore yesterday, but as soon as i dealt with police and insurance i had to get away from it, went on a little drinking binge... somebody asked how it was locked, it was inside a locked shed, must admit i felt no need to put the disk break lock while it was in there, so thats it, other than the bikes own steering lock.. they broke down the door.

there is photos in my profile and the smc guys know the bike well... but ill upload some into here soon

It sounds like a planned theft ,someone must have known it was in the shed...
Should hang bike thieves.

Post a pic and make sure it's reported as stolen.

Anybody buying a bike can (and should) look up the VIN plate number here.. (for free)
http://www.carjam.co.nz

It should then show up as stolen. (It would be interesting to know how long it takes from you reporting it stolen before it is marked as stolen on carjam.)

Believe me, none of us wants to buy a stolen bike, so post that pic and if anybody tries to sell it to us we'll get straight back to you!

just uploading some photos
if you see the first photo theres a very particular square where the paint scrapped off cleanly and its just white, just below the left light... maybe that helps...

second so you see the paint scheme its very uncommon in blue.. they are usually green...

and the last one is so you know i had good times with it and miss it... what are my friends going to wrap in caution tape to stop me from getting to work early morning now....

protip: when posting photos, number plates are bad things - for just $1.50 you can go to a post shop and get the details of the owner and their address using just the plate and colour
