hi
ok so i was playing around with the idea or making a new led brake/tail light,
i made the whole unit, spent like a hour of today at work making this awsome led clear unit thingy(lost camera).
right i get home turn off bike take of helmet etc etc etc.
i remove the existing unit and put in the led one turn bike on , ok so it goes, looks alright ,
but the brake light didint work (more modding) ,

so i removed it ,as i was removing the new unit i heard a bzzzzz ,
fuck.i diddint turn the bike off!!!!!!!!!!.

turn bike off,
righto so i put the original unit in and turn bike on, now it wont light up but it goes when i touch the brakes

i checked all the fuses and the bulbs
i could find and they are all sweet theres gota be more somwhere
the plate lights, indicators, brakes headlights all are fine
any clues???

ohh and i still cant get on to that othersite sr.

ps my spellings crap and my grammer.
thanks in advance Hayden

Sound like you are going to have to run a new wire.

Have you checked on how much current the LED is drawing compared with the bulb rating?

No doubt a fuse mate, when i was hooking up this unit in the instructions there was something about making sure any exposed wiring was taped over.

If a fuse hasn't blown, then you might find a relay has failed, or a "wire" became a fuse and melted.
