Always had a soft spot for Michelin, I can 'feel' when their at the edge of adhesion and for some reason am still loyal to the brand even now that I have to buy them for normal price!!

See my sig.....and I LOVE em! If your keen to try some at a fraction of the cost brand new, I sell them after each race day....maximum use is 6 races plus practices so heaps of life left in them still...PM me if interested.

Continental mate, and if you want direct track side help with bike set up from me at Moto-Dynamix, ( FOC) you will want to be using Conti also

My favourite tyres have always bee pirelli diablos - but with a different bike now, I'm running Pilot Road 2's - they appear to stick equally as good - so far :woohoo:

I run tyres built by a manufacturer that's on the "list" -- Avon.

I also suggest that the thread starter read the sides of tyres and note the spellings of Pirelli, Michelin, and Metzeler.

If you can make 365 condoms out of a used tyre, then it's probably a Goodyear.

I've always liked Dunlops in the past, but I tried the new (ish) diablo supercorsa's and was well impressed by them, both on the track and the road. Yet to try the Dunny m-techs, but at the price of them.....

Dunlops are the tyre on the moment...so if you after advice on best tyres...thats it!!

If you just being a nosey twit...then your poll makes sense...people often use tyres that are the best deal or because of habit.

Keep an eye on Continentals, these tyres are getting better and better. And when you buy their race tyres they are fresh from production.

Conti all the way. I love em. Great feed back which is super important and great off track support which is also important! With Shaun and Mishy who are usually at most meetings and are both clued up about them you will find what you need to know with ease!

Do contis do a slick?? I wonder if they would be similar to dunlops cause you run similar pressures.... The main reason i like Dunlops is the profile of there front tyre and they dont deteriorate like some other brands

Dunlop N-Tecs are clearly the tyre that has set the line in the sand but there is a new Continental slick that is very very good. Speak to Mishy, he knows more about tyres than anyone.
