1970s Stunt Team?

My work colleague and I are driving ourselves nuts trying to remember the name of an Amercian stunt team that was here in the early 70's. We saw them at Carlaw Park in Auckland and we think that there were cars as well as bikes - but I can only remember the bikes.
If anyone can remember the name of them please put us out of our misery!

Was it the LA Hell Drivers. They did a tour of New Zealand and Also appered at Western Springs

The cars, did they ride on two wheels? like up a ramp and on the right/left side?
I saw a stunt team during the 70's at the Palmerston North Showgrounds.
I will think of thier name eventually.

There was a French group about 1975 touring here doing the 2 wheel stunts.
