Sorry to hear that mate, music has the ability to bring back memories. That is a very emotion invoking tune, but I thought that was a different spin.

William Tell with a twist
I tried so hard to find a version of this that I could put up here. Even had Maha help me hunt. Closest we got was the "Lone Ranger" . There are some amazing arrangements of this for brass only.

Love the French Horns! I was lucky enough to play this on a French Horn many moons ago.

Ok, ok! Yeah it is is a horney instrument for sure. But a purist will insist it is wood wind. Navy bands versus brass bands is another good example. Brass is brass, military is quite another thing. Where the hell is McJim when you need him? I even heads him up about this thread :innocent:

I wore a three piece wool suit, silk tie and monogrammed silk shirt - and we went on my XS1100. And he had a full orchestra and lots of horns.

Actually mixing cross beats and instruments is not as easy as you'd think!!
My bro-inlaw is a note reading man, skilled in bass, accoustic and electric guitar, and drums, and he had a go at the decks for a while, he mastered it, but very very tricky...

But mostly because the idiotic text selection tool insists on grabbing the ] in the initial quote tag when you try to select parts of the quoted post's content for deletion.

Did you do TeknoDave with software? I Like the sound at the beginning! Quite bouncy!!!

It doesn't do brass very well. Little stabs, but it sounds too faux.
It is cool fun tpo play with though.

If you want real sounding brass - apple has solutions between $1,500 and $5,000. :-(
