My first ever thread on KB! Note the exclamation mark.
I decided to post my first thread as I was so chuffed to finally find a good way of listening to music when on the bike.
I have to fully recommend the phillips go gear to all bikers.
I originally bought it thinking, because the main screen is touch control, that my huge gloved fingers could press the buttons. Before you all go off at a tangent thinking this is a touchscreen MP3 it isn't. The screen is the button (and the full shape is that of a small "post it" note). Push on the left hand side and change radio preset (or track) push on the right and move back etc...
The best thing?
You can change radio (or music tracks) by pressing on it through you bike gear.
Even after only one ride with it I got used to changing radio station by just pushing on it through my gear - easy as. You just push on your chest to change stations. How good is that!
Only bad thing:
Shit headphones (all free headphones are shite). What you really need is earbud headphones. Bought a pair of $80 noise cancelling ones and they are the dogs bollocks. Same cost as the go gear - just goes to show how seriously good value the go gear is.
Second Only bad thing:
Cage drivers may misundertand your changing of channels as the feeling up of your man boobs. (Woman bikers might have even more cagers looking at them when innocently just changing stations).
Apart form the above - I definately recommend the go gear.
