I was in much the same sort of unfortunate position as you - in a motel room while fishing with a bunch of farmers around dinner time. Pretty much unavoidable (sadly).

What a pile of shit Rugby Union is. Compare that game with the State of Origin on Wednesday - in fact any NRL game on any given week.

No intensity, no decent hits, few skills. Basically it was a mistakefest and a lollie scramble. There were two (soft) trys, about a million knock ons, the ball in play for all of about 20 mins, 300 million penalty kicks at goal (each way), and a who can kick the highest bomb competition.

The game is a farse (as in: It's F@#%ing Arse). One or two phases of play while the defending team waits for the attacking team makes a mistake or either team commits an infrigement.

As for the All Blacks - I'd hate to think that the up and under is the master plan for the next world cup. Which by the way NZ decides to host during a recession and at a time when interest in the game has reached an all time low. Not to worry - Governemnt bail out has already been offered
