who else has just recieved one of these in the mail?
today i got one, so did a mate who uses my mail box as he doesnt trust his lol.
i didnt order one.
he didnt order one.
i allready have one, which i also didnt ask for because im a steward.
its pretty fucken annoying having to pay a shitload for license fees each year, so they can throw money around sending out rule books which they claim are worth $10, and id imagine would cost close to that to print.
if they stopped wasting money, then they wouldnt have to charge $125 each year for a license that really doesnt do much anyway.

I got sick of buying day licenses but have never gotten around to paying full whack. I looked into what these licenses are all about and as far as I could tell the only real plus is if you get killed by death, your loved one gets $15,000 in insurance?
I figured they need money to fund MNZ activities & don't begrudge that but sending out rule book seems like a major waste of precious funds when it should just be online. Last time I checked CC racing rules re how far I could legally stray off track for sneaky passes/bottle necks the neccessary info WAS online anyway.

yea well they reckon in the interest of saving money thats why if you do NEED a rule BOOK, you can opt to pay for one, however it appears they have just sent them out to everyone, and in my case i have 2 of them - cant their system see im a rider and a steward? and that i dont need 2 rule books!
a number of clubs have ditched mnz, and its likely more will follow. basicly because they make everything difficult and expensive and really dont offer fuck all in return

There was a heap of crap from a couple of South Islanders complaining about MNZ being "North only". It got pathetic.........

theres harrisville, thats a mint track.
and its not far to travel to rodney club days, not far to patetonga, not excessively far to tokoroa, whakatane, taupo
auckland is the worst place to live if you want to go anywhere though, especially in the weekend when speed limits seem to drop by 40%, and all traffic lights seem to have a 10 second delay on moving when the light goes green. (bloody hopeless weekend drivers)

harrisville, 3x20mins a week
rodney,1 every couple of months if your lucky
patetonga, couple of hours dve there and back, 1 a month, if your lucky
tokaroa, whakatane, taupo are not in auckland!
auckland is a long way from anywhere if you want to race, practice or watch anything descent. no sx tracks, bylaws galore against anything to do with dirt bikes

lol, i did say not excessively too far!
and by that i mean it is possible to drive there, race and drive back within a day (if you're dedicated)
i too have to travel a minimum of 2 hours to race anywhere other than the 13  events we have here locally each year
perhaps u could move to gisborne? we have plenty of racing

if you look at other forms of motorsport MNZ's fees are the cheapest around, my Speedway liceinse is $170 , kart sport is more so are drag racing and Motorsport,
MNZ is far from perfect, but complaining you get a rule book is a new one,
(with my $170 SNZ liceinse i did nto get one, i have to pay extra for it)
and auckland has a few places to ride, Pukekohe is about the only club in teh country to run organised practices with marshalls etc every week, unfortuntaly due to our consent we only have 2 hours a week, where a lot of smaller towns can run alot more of the time, probebly comes down to auckland having a lot of wingers and get places shut down, Ardmore being the prime example
