Does any one know where I can buy thin brass/ bronze shims like .002-.008.
Or does some one have some that they can sell me, thickness isn't to critical.
Any help appreciated

www.onlinemetals.com <- I remember seeing a shim pack there, but it was a hell of a lot of metal, probably pretty pricey. Failing that I've bought copper bar stock from Mico Metals in NZ and probably any good engineering shop (or even something like a mitre10 mega perhaps) should be able to at least point you in the right direction...

I think Blackwood Paykels (http://www.blackwoodspaykels.co.nz/servlet/Srv.Ecos_Signon?CN=12488&AC=6Qjw6ruLaMjUk3Gz&UC=BWPGUEST) carry shim metals, worth a look

How much do you need? In square inches like, and does it have to be brass , or would shim steel be OK?
