Right brand but I'm thinking that a Vulcan like this - http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=247375014 - is me, still got 7 months to do, and as the local plod here and I don't see i 2 i and he won't apply for a transfer i don't want to give him grounds to tax me, so the 250 it is for a while, thinking I'll do a defensive driving after the restricted test to cut 3 months off and I might get the tail end of summer. Going to do some serious test riding first though.

I'm going to come down to the Thursday nites, when I think I'm up to keeping up, but being serious for a moment, the existing bike is a little small, and I find after about an hour in the saddle I get bloody uncomfortable, something to do with knees up around the ears. Went and looked at the 2 Suzuki's down at 2 wheel services a while ago and even the smaller one their is a bit small in the seating dept.

Shame one of you guys isn't a mentor, as I'd also like to spend some time with someone going through the basics, might trundle down to the day at Whenuapai sometime.

ok so im out of cast ... and get licence back on the 12th january .. pulled bike outta shed gave her sum luv .. then washed her .. jumped on shot up the drive looked up the road ..CLEAR .. down the road CLEAR .. ok blast time .. click her into gear then get this funny feeling ..Sure enough look to my right again and there is a police car travelling up the hill ..

I shat myself down the drive into the shed ... . so she still hasen't been for a run in as many months .. maybe jade better come give her a blast for me LOL

Bugger I finished work in time for Thursday as well, ever since I (the wife) bought the bike I've been flatout at work even the bloody weekends to meet a deadline, away next Thursday but will definitely make the Thursday after that - subject to rain, looking for the odd weekend ride as well.:wacko:

no rules...unlike the normal game i think its best to announce your intentions.It would be a bit annoying to do a big two day mission and then find someone else has grabbed.Dont forget we want it back!If you do decide to get it announce on the nz tag(of course)

I'd say go for it, I was aiming to get it a lot further north than that anyway but I've got a troublesome shoulder so had to stop well short of my intended drop off.

Bit gutted really because I can't get a pic of the Light House behind "Bagheera" (well not without some Maori DOC worker having ago at me), so sorry Dudes & Dudettes this is as close as I can get now (have 4year old pic's of "Roxanne" with the light house). Was a 520km round trip from home and back for "Bagheera" & me (we loved every minute of it:msn-wink:).
