I've just been looking though the online bike ads, and goodness me! People just feel they need to state their opinion about other peoples bikes even if they have no intention of buying them. Just noting the er6 ad. Do they really need to argue with the guy over mpg? Seems a bit sad really. You don't have to write down everything that comes into your head-its called self control.
Its quite simple in my book, if you have no intention of buying, then why the hell are you posting in the ads anyway. bunch of pricks if you ask me.

They are some good comments though, which actually support the seller. If you've got nothing better to do-post some discussion, not just shoot down peoples bike.

Some times people post to correct the seller who might have incorrect or misleading information.

As a buyer i want all the info on a bike i can get

I have noticed on Tard me that the posters of questions never seem to even bid on the bikes or cars for that matter....suppose they have nothing better to do..

You should try reading the Bike Gear Warehouse thread.

yeah ive noticed that on tard me quite a bit. its like they try and start their own lil forum of their own whilest ruining someones ad! fair enough asking questions signifacant to the ad, but its obvious that some people are asking questions to try and show they are smarter then the seller and are not so interested in the ad. if you want to argue about bikes, why not just join kiwi biker:shutup:

You get all sorts. I had one chap/chapesse resently ask on my Honda 50cc scooter motor sale TM add: "Where does the chain connect?" (or something similar). I also hate the tyrekickers who want to come for a look. I always make sure I get their home ph# before I even contemplate it.

But what really pisses me off is the "How much to send to..." on a bike add.

Depends on the situation. Some people are just busybodies as you mention & have no real business commenting, others are just doing their good deed for the day ie: making sure some unsuspecting nub doesn't literally buy into the misinformation presented before them. All depends on the approach if offense is taken & the true intentions of the seller.
