Woot! Got the loan of my mates KR150 for the weekend and I have to say, I'm rather surprised at it's ability! Being a 2-smoker sure helps. At the right amount of revs it can really get up and boogey! I have found it a bit light and skittery, but apart from that it leaves me :gob: at it's ability to pull away. I was asked how it compared to my 250 v-twin, but it's not really comparable. They are both great fun, but I'm having a ball on the 150 for a change. I am looking forward to climbing back on the GT250R though, if only to feel like I'm not kissing the ground! The KR is so small in comparison:sunny:

I rode an RG 150 and know exactly what you mean, RG 150 is 37 horses i think and can cane it no problem but the GT250r is soooo much easier to ride cos of the lower down power

Yeah, we looked seriously at an RG250, and if the 150 is anything to go by, that'd really have some go! Gotta be in the power band though, or it does absolutely nothing.

It has taken me a while to get used to the size of the GT250R as I'm fairly slight, so I thought the size of the 150 would be a welcome relief, but actually, I'm missing the big beast! :sunny:

hmmm RG250 would be too fast for me I reckon, a roadracer in Ireland died after his rg250's engine seized at 166mph.... kinda put me off....

Because your less likely to die at that speed on an IL4 :)

I loved my RG150, baby 2 strokes are so fun and flickable...

2 strokes are great fun, easy to modify, turn heads. But you're always goddamn fixing them. Avoid old bikes.
