Price sounds about right but the mileage is getting up there...
Couple of things to think about with the RF
1) 2nd gear cog on the early ones wears out (bike reportedly start "popping out of second gear" at about the 30,000km mark.
2) They don;t like siting in the rain too much. Deep recesses with spark plugs in the bottom can get a bit of water in them. Sealant around the top of the plug lead stop any probs.
3) If/when you get one, PM me and I'll get you an electronic copy of the maintenance manual...
Trying to be unbiased... it is a GREAT BIKE. I've had mine for a year and a bit, 18,000 kms and it's not missed a beat. Lots of fun, plenty of horsies when needed...

the spluttering out problem is a pain I have shrouded the plug hole stoppers with a good dolop of sealant. another potential problem is the drive cush in the altenator about $300 to fix an stuffs at about 40ks oterwise a very powerfull grunter. two models available the KLM speedo 120bhp or the canadian spec mpm speedo unit all eco muffled at 100bhp both good
I have one and am happy
