at me today.
we were both travelling towards each other, I could see his arm hangin out the window from quite a distance away then, just as we pass each other, he flicks his ciggerette right at me. Didnt see where it went but, it was definately deliberate and towards me. He had so much time to discard it before he got anywhere near me and, I find it very hard to believe that it was just a coincidence....... the more I think about it the more livid I become. Am I being paranoid???

No, not paranoid - there's heaps of assholes out on the road, especially up your way. You've just had the misfortune to come into contact with one.
Glad to hear it didn't cause any problems though.

Yes you are, so whilst in that state, kick his fuckin door in.(p/t sort of).
Not alot you can do really mate , except give a nono shake of the head, or maybe the finger , or just come to the conclusion that the person is a complete fuck-knob , and carry on.

nah... didn't have the presence of mind to turn around and follow the prick...... not sure if its worth it. If we had been sitting at the lights or travelling in the same direction it would have been a very different story. I'm not much of a confrontational person but, thats something I am not going to tolerate in future.

Funniest thing ever I have seen re ciggy butts, ex windows...
I was pillion (love that sometimes, you have both hands free to deliver messages and no worries of control of bike) Down the motorway south of Auckland. We were in the inside lane about to exit, a chick passenger in middle lane flicks a butt out the window and quite obviously got a serve from the driver. We pootled up alongside and I gave her my version of the evils. How she did not drop like a stone I cant understand :blip:
Anyway, I intimated by gesture that her butt had landed in my lap, it hadn't, missed by miles :innocent: and gave her a stern finger wave, not the 2 fingered variety here, the proper one. She looked really embarassed, and I doubt she will ever flick a butt again.

Hahaha, Gubb's thread is pretty awesome. Dont' know if I'd have the bottle to put the bike on it's stand, pick up the butt and throw it back in the window.
Had to smile about the comments concerning the filthy habit of dropping butts on the ground. Right up there with hoiking on the footpath - major gross! Be glad it wasn't so flying goobie heading in your direction.

They think they can get away with it because they are in a vehicle which tends to give some people a sense of invulnerability. I know how it feels to be like that - I still tend to become a bit of a beast on the road at times. Not as much since I left Auckland though, mind you.

i take back my last post ... i counted today.. 19 ciggy butts.. 2 cigars .. only 2 were at harleys.. 1 at a honda and i lost count of all the KB Stickers i was trying to hit...
