Qualifying

Qualifying was fairly uneventfull, I just went out and rode around with no real agression because the track was still damp and cold. I realised I was way off the pase of the front runners when Kyle came flying past into the last turn. I eneded up in 5th place, with a time of 1:29.565

Race 1

The first race started like all my others, with a terrible start. I was swamped by street stock bikes, but made up afew places in the first couple of corners, and then took out some big chunks in the next couple of straights. Eventully I got back to my 5th place and then just finished the race on my own. One thing I noticed is my drive out of corners has improved a lot. When it comes to passing the street stock 150s and 250s I come up on them with a lot more pace. Also I could out drive some of the other 125gp bikes and wasn’t loosing to much from the quicker 125s. My best lap was 1:26.048

Race 2

My second start was even worse than the first. I bogged real bad at first and then got it right on the second attempt, but by which time I had already lost a lot of ground. I just need to get it right the first time and then maby I can try hand off the fast people up front. Jaden had an engine failure on the first lap which ment by the time I fought my way up as far as usual I was in 4th place, which is my best yet, but only by defult so it doesn’t really count. My best lap was 1:25.100.

I made improvements all day cutting my times each session and I am slowly cutting down the gap to the front runners.
I think I know where I can make up a fair bit of time and that is staying on the brakes a bit too long and my corner entry is a bit lacking, on the positive, I seem to be able to drive out of the corners reasonably well.

Thanks to Steve, Mike, Robbie, the Vic club, and everyone else involved.

Yeah, thats great Glen, moving up & gettin quicker. You have to practice those starts eh!

More revs, pump the lever a bit, scoot with your feet maybe, hey it's only a clutch and you only need it once (at the start)
