Ok with nothing better to do and riding my motoring vehicle the other day I had a thought...
Race slicks can go through x number of heat cycles before they start getting buggered and don't grip no more... and tyre warmers help with this.
But how many heat cycles can a set of road tyres do before they start giving up the ghost???
I mean some of you might say they never get up to temperature on the road etc etc etc...
But when it's like a couple degrees outside and I jump off the bike and then put my hands on my tyres to warm them up that is a decent heat cycle.
Just was curious as it seems I am having to wait longer before getting some *cough cough* decent traction.
