YEP!.....It's true!......Through the Mainland driving school........It's a new program to get FULLY licensed in I believe it is actually 6 weeks......But being the BLONDE that I am.........And the new rider that I am......I'm takin' just a little bit longer.......But I have my Restricted now and in 2 weeks will go for my FULL and I am on my way baby!......So does that mean I don't have to drive with the BIG "L" thingy on my bike anymore?.....I forgot to ask them that!

You mean you don't already have your full? Did you not ride while over in the states cause if you have a US motorbike license all you have to do is take the theary test and you're set. That reminds me I need to do that soon, bah it can wait I have till june and my US one doesn't expire till october.... 2 years from now lol.

might just be me, but it's a tad scary to think you can go from being allowed a push bike, to then being allowed a thou in a few weeks with little experiance.. Not a go at anyone here, but I've heard bad stories of experianced riders, let alone newbies.
go at your own pace, ay? see ya around for a while longer yet ;)

We don't like huge motorways and massive amounts of pollutants. Or a Macca's on every street corner.
We like the fact that we can drive down the street and we know we are not going to get shot at or raped. You should be fucken thankful they let you into the country.
Chicks in the States don't mess with shit they don't intend to ride..They get straight on what ever it is that they intend to ride and they LEARN!......Even in the hell of L.A. traffic. what a load of shit, anyone can ride in a straight line
......And we don't have 1/2 as many bikes go down as do here!......What's up with that?......Seems chicks over there are doing something that the chicks here aren't doing..........The only people who ride 250's and under over there are our kids........ha!,..........Seriously!...No Joke! YOU make it quite obvious that you don't like much...........And your right the roads here are fucked.....what's up with that?.....So are the aggresive drivers......We have a NO TAIL GATEING LAW in the States....You'll get pulled the hell over and heavily fined for that in the US.....If a cop spots you....If another driver has to deal with it....well THAT would be one of those times you have a mutha fu**** pull up next to you and point his piece (that everyone just about packs) another nice thing about NZ!...It's safer here!) at you or your tires........Other wise people on the roads are all good there..And I have sorted myself out as far as the Camera's go (nona yor biz)...and I don't need to really because I am.... cruisin......Not racing....The corners I will.... and have.... handled and I did very well for a NEWBIE......Bee-ITCH!....YOU seem to be QUITE aggressive.......what's YOUR hang up?....Never mind "I could give a shit"......L8R
OH YAH.............I AM A KIWI!....Born RIGHT FUCKING HERE!....Just seen more things in my life than YOU I guess!
Prove it to who?..........I don't need to prove shit to anyone....sorry!.....I know! Baglady with a shopping trolly..
Yes I have ridden a harley, yeah they handle like a shopping trolly...
Enjoy your time on the roads, no doubt with a "american" attitude that you have to NZ and the roads, you won't be on them for long.
Enough said.

I think. Lilm, that the trouble would seem to be that your tone comes across badly. I'm sure you are totally different in person- we all are. But the fact of the matter is, the people here are a great crowd (in general) and very experienced. When I started riding a few months ago, I had a lot of support and a lot of great advice, which I was very grateful for. I was new here from overseas, too. Now I'm privileged to count many of my closest friends are people on here that I've met in real life- some of whom I thought were total nobs before I did.
I'm not too proud to ride a 250: I don't have the money to ride anything bigger, and frankly I'm not so arrogant to think I don't have to go through a learning stage first. I've binned more than once now, and the lack of power has probably minimized my injuries and the risk I might have posed to others.
Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but from your whole 'yee-ha, good ol' America' stance, you are either trolling (it's working, by the way) or you should really get yourself home where it won't rub people up the wrong way.
Perhaps you might do well to calm it down a bit until you figure out who's who here; not to say 'don't post', just don't go biting people you don't know, because it doesn't come across well. I really do hope things go well for you: but please, please can this arrogant attitude: on a big bike like yours, it could go horribly wrong, and I think we'd all rather meet you in one piece and find out you're actually a really cool person.
M'kay?

Mehtinks some of us are a tad touchy - Lilmsrocker is just like most folk from the U.S., just like a Kiwi but louder in dress, style and voice (Doh! that's right, she IS a Kiwi).
Look at the WINJA, mikey et al and they've been here all the time.
Peace grasshopper, peace, - each to their own.
