View Full Version : Biker He Seeks Biker She

Andrew
20th October 2003, 20:55
Biker He seeks Biker she for close friendship, which could lead to more!

Biker He is wanting a Biker She partner to spend quality time with this Summer.

Picnics, and tourning type rides are Biker He's idea of quality time.
Biker She should not be put be off by Biker He's small bike, likewise Biker He will not be intimidated if Biker She has a large bike.

If all fails, at least I can say i've tried.

 :o

Is Biker He coming on the rideout from Clevedon on the 1st of November? Biker He might find a Biker She in that sort of social situation. :)

This Biker She, whilst being single, is 13 years older than you & not an Aucklander. Soz.

The age barrier isn't that big just as long as both parties have similar out look on life etc... (this goes for me)

Just as long as I am here, I am wanting similar qualities in a woman as Andrew here :D

I'd normally agree, but when the younger party is still in his teens, he's in a very different place financially, careerwise & in general outlook on life.

I remember what it was like at that age, and through into my early twenties: work was a necessary evil so that weekends could be fully enjoyed, parties & gatherings of friends were regular and "responsibility" was a dirty word. :p

Er, well phrased there mate :D

You'll be disappointed though... a girl riding a bike is probably an indication of some kinda deep-rooted emotional instability, or summat.

Best get yerself a "biker's moll" type that'll be happy to pillion and wash dishes.

Pah!

I "girl" riding her own bike is more likely to indicate a strong, independant personality, which most guys can't handle! :p

Doesn't sound girlie to me. Do you have a daughter? If not you won't undertsand how untidy girls are. You are lucky to be able to get into my daughter's room for all the stuff she has hung neatly (yeah right!!) on the floor. My son is totally different everything always neat and tidy. I better not say anything about my wife and her habits.

My idea of a mans bike is a Honda - not temperamental at all, just always ready to ride.

Some people go on about chararacter of bikes and they are usually talking about bikes with many flaws and they say Hondas are boring. Give me boring any day if that's what it is. I prefer cruising along the road rather than trying to fix the bloody thing or wait for help all in the name of character.

Girls riding bikes are cool as far as I am concerned - shame there's not more of them.

you may well be right about the 'beard' being a drawcard to *some* women Andrew but there's easier ways to attract rough females!! (not that I really think thats what you're after in a girl, but hey I could be wrong!)

ohh this thread is interesting - and CK for hte earlier post - she doesnt ride herself, she will be coming on back of VFR, has been on back of it i think 3x now, loves it... has briefly talked about getting a bike herself.. but i think it was just talk?

and pah! its so true about hondas :( its just not fair! but i only ride a girls bike because people told me that would mean i was queer, and apparently girls dig guys that a queer? or somthing like that? so i figure born the way i was im going to need all the help i can get... even if it means riding hondas! pahahahhahhaa!... oh but the tight, purple satin shirt is just a personal thing.. i like the way it feels across my chest.  :buggerd

I have to say the beard works for me pulls like a magnet when added to the rest of me (semi self depricating humour).

But please note I am talking about a beard not a 20 year olds catipillar impersonating 6 week growth.

And before you ask yes I have researched this!

No goatee = a few numbers but nothing more than "Your such a good freind".

A full beard = very few numbers but their all dead certs but you have to think twice... and lights on is not an option.

Neatly trimmed well groomed goatee or "sculpture" = Lots of initial attention and a higher general standard of applicants.

It is not just a coincidence that all of my dry spells have coincided with my having a clean shaven face.

Sounds to me like someone has "some kinda deep rooted emotional instability"  BUT it's not one of the girls Is it jrandom??  One would have to think that riding a 150 could possibly leave you feeling a little 'under endowed' and rather intimadated by a girl with 3 times your CC's (and some)

Assuming that you are serious and not just trying, unsuccessfully to be funny, could you explain to me why you have such a low opinion of female riders ? Notwithstanding the fact that both my wife and daughter are off road bikers and have proven them self in this type of biking, I have on a number of occasions had my arse kicked by female riders.

If I have taken the intent of your post the wrong way, and it is just your form of humour, then I apologize, If it seems I am sensitive to this issue, It's just get a bit pissed off with this macco bullshit every time it comes up.

Ps. read body language by Alan Pease, some top tips on how to score:niceone:

My ravings earlier are scientific fact!

It has to do with pheremones!

Downside is it conceals your biggest asset your expression!

Solution grow a SMALL well tended sculpture that allows your attitude to show but also allows you to distribute those pheremones! (keep it off the lips)

Warning: not for amatuers, as you will get more attention than you can deal with (assuming you didn't just grow a catipillar, as your pheremones are undeveloped).

If you can't grow better than a catipillar try the alternative's offered in the book.

Grow an oversized wallet.... Never tried this one but judging from events witnessed in Parnell money attracts somewhat vapid model types. When the money's gone so are they.

Or another one I can vouch for. Work out before going out, shower but use UNSCENTED anti persperant and soaps. This is the method that gets the best results because a) you look better B) you are better groomed and C) the gym is a great place to meet fit girls! Down side it requires the most effort.

For any method to work you need to dance.... however badly.. It gets the pheremones flowing. Note if you think you dance badly you are probably right! If you think you dance well you are probably wrong! But most women appreciate the effort / company... in fact I have observed (in my old job as a bouncer) many a woman just about rape gangly white guys with no job no prospects and a bad drug habit just because they were quite happy to make a dick of themselves just to be in her company. I also saw a lot of "studs" lose out to "geeks" with really hot girls because of this fact. You need an edge if you can't pull off the bad boy image you need to learn to dance.

The pheremone based methods require you to let them smell you before you display any desire! Show desire not desperation!

Here endeth the lesson!

The above does in fact work.. however humerously written try it before you knock it..... unless you are already spoken for.

Aff_man, you might be an innocent, though I seriously doubt it. However you must see/know lots of girls your own age.

Afterall the outnumber men three to one in NZ and five to one statistically. So for every guy at tech, work. church whatever, there should be three girls hanging around.

Why just Monday Andrew and I saw a guy with four gigling girls hanging around. So there out there somewhere.....:o

Didn't you say you're a student? Am I getting my wires crossed? Heaps of decent chicks in the arts faculty etc at Auck Uni IIRC. Presumably most other institutions have a good sprinkling as well.

in any case, make sure you

- present with a confident and engaging manner
- have a decent haircut
- smell good
- wear nice clothes
- stay in reasonable shape and
- don't talk about freaking bikes all the time! or yourself for that matter...

and you should be able to pull the girls without too much trouble, you might even find one that likes bikes :niceone:

Its hard enough to find a nice single gurl who you can get along with let alone one who rides. I think its better to keep your options open and increase the chances for yourself. Even if she doesn't ride, there are a million other entertaining things you can do together.

Goodluck buddy. :niceone:

Edited after reading Jrandom's post: Nicely put dude. Once you leave school/tek/uni, you will only find your self in a harder position to find chix. No matter, you will just have to work on your pickup lines etc and practice just about everywhere you can think of.

Absolutely. Nothing like the smell of desperation to send a girl running!

Why not attend as many rallies, race meets and other bike related events as possible? Doesn't the KiwiRider magazine have a calendar of events in it?

I am seeing gurl right now who is your age mitch. So like I said before, age isn't that big of a barier if you don't want it to be.

*feels good to say that* after being single for a while now. :o

Shame you aren't available down this end of the country as there don't seem to be too many Wellington area women posting on the site. As for higher age bracket yeah right. My wife is happy though, she thinks she will always be younger than me - maybe she's right.

Lynda Blair seems quite happy hanging with all us old guys and I must make sure I make the run this weekend.

Now that Wkid has retired is it going to be a whole lot safer riding over the 'tukas from now on?

What end of town are you likely to end up working in? We generally have Friday lunches with Lynda on Waring Taylor St.

Most of January I'm holidaying up North with the family (in the 4x4 - no bikes in tow) all geared around being in Auckland around the 16th because the kids say its life and death that they have to go see Metallica at The BIg Day Out.

Good luck - and don't forget the WIMA rallies - that's where I picked up my husband six years ago! He and his mates used to go along in the vain hope of picking up chicks - and for years it worked! The year I met him, three other guys in his club hooked up with WIMA women/girls but he's the only one to keep his.

WIMA has women of all ages - when I was a member in Wellington there were teenagers right through to grandmothers - take your pick!

I tried doing car maintenance, etc. in the hope of finding men when I was single, but most classes were filled with women who had the same idea! You could try cooking classes - even if you don't find anyone there, you will pick up some useful skills for when you do find a partner!

It is a good idea to try and find a woman who is into bikes too, because then if it turns serious she won't make you sell your bike to buy the engagement ring. My other half was always getting people asking if I was going to make him sell his bikes once we were married - as if! I even bought a new bike on our honeymoon!

I  being single. Maybe it's only because it's recent...but man...I get to do what I want, when I want it. I never have to think about 'checking in' about who's cooking dinner, what time we'll be home etc. It's GREAT! It means at 5:30, when someone sends a text saying "got work drinks, come and gate crash", I can go without hesitation (after taking Gem home first of course).

Yay for singleness.

Oh - and this was one 'resurrected' thread Sarge!!!!

By the way...I'm anticipating meeting a man with enough moolah that he can afford a bike AND an engagement ring Beemer!!! :) Hope truly does spring eternal (especially since I pull in a decentish (given I work for crown) salary myself...it's a hard road finding someone who can cope with me!)!

Looks like we need to get Aunty Riff Raff to start up her "introduction service" again.
There seems to be quite a few single like minded people on this site that need a helping hand to get together!

Pah!

I "girl" riding her own bike is more likely to indicate a strong, independant personality, which most guys can't handle! :p

Total wisdom here :-)
