A while ago a dropped the rear suspension to the top bolt, I dropped the forks thru the clamps 20 mm.
This ended up giving the bike an unwelcome weave at approx 110k, something which it shouldn't theoretically do especially with the increased rake.
I have remeasured the rear and the drop is 36mm after doing the bolt location swap, I then decided to drop the front the same to see what happens rather than just 20 mm.
Well bugger me the thing sits almost perfect or as good as I can get on full knobblies.
Coupla questions I have, when lowering the forks thru the triples has anyone had any clearance issues front wheel to fender?
Am I better to do the internal fork lowering per book or leave it as I have done it.
If this prooves to be a good mixture I will have to shorten the side stand, on its own the bike sits okish but with any amount of gear I think it will go to ground.
Wonna make aure I dont' have ground clearance issues on the road too.
