yeah that banner is at all the major airports, there are a lot of people getting behind the event and any advertising is good advertising.
$5 entry this year for spectators, things are just getting stupidly expensive. We only just managed to make ends meet last year for the first time in 5 years we made a profit. the money and sponsorship just isnt out there this year. we pay all the set up crews, nothing is done for free $9,500 for the labour alone just to set up and pull down.
St johns and Fire brigade used to be voluntary once upon a time. now we are looking around $3000 for the day
mind you, im sure $5 is not that bad.

shell be all good, hopefully i wont be up until midnight on the Saturday building grid boards and juggling riders into classes like last year!! a nice relaxing evening with a few beers, Followed by a sleepless night praying it dont rain and wondering weather our motard section is floating down the drains and out to sea!!:gob: Cant wait!!!!
