you had a "This is why I do it" / "This is what its all about" moment
And describe it.

I havent had one for awhile, suppose it means I need to get out there more

I think the last one I had was on a group ride, came out of a corner to a long straight to see 20 ish KBers in staggered formation, and thinking "I am a part of this"

This morning. I was out the back country on a road I had not been on before. Hit a corner a little faster than I was comfortable with...usually I would have throttled back a little and let a bit of engine braking bleed off some speed and have the bike drop back into the corner. But this morning, for some reason, I just thought "fuck it!" and cranked it over harder, wound it on, put a little more weight forward and just powered through..Eeeheheheee felt pretty good really. Dunno why I don't do that more often...

When, after 7 weeks of nasty French and Italian scooters, I got home to roll up the garage door, and Scoot was gradually revealed, all thousand cubic centimetres waiting to be cranked into life.

I ride a dog of a bike for work every day.

This means that when I get on the Tiger, I am always smiling :)

Last Sunday carving up some beaut roads up North with my wife on the back. Having a wee chat as we took the long way to find a late lunch. We decided on a cruisy pace. Surprisingly we didn't see many bikes. We did bump into two different sets of friends in cages who'd also stopped in for food at the same place randomly.

The biker down on the straight bit of road still wasn't enough to change that feeling although there was a little talk about how he's doing etc. Bit of a bugger when it happens.

A couple of weeks ago when I took the bike on a 2000k trip up nort in the rain and wind. Only me to worry about for 4 days. Sit with a JD & Dry in a tall glass for lunch and watch the world go by. Then back on the road.

Then a weekend ago when I went riding some twisty roads.

And on Sunday when my oldest came over with his bike and said: "Dad, lets go for a ride".

Life is good.
