Wrong again Hitcher! The correct spelling is actually "Manfeeld" and derives from an ancient dialect that used to be spoken in remote Turkmenistan called Bohgun. "Manfeeld" as in "A manfeeld up a woman on a bus".

Technically its Manfeel'd up a woman on a bus.
a manfelt up a woman on a bus and was charged with indecent assault. He claimed provocation as a defense because she was wearing a short skirt but this was rejected by the court. :Police:
He was found guilty and sentenced to 3 months prison where in the showers discovered how unpleasant uninvited and unwanted sexual advances can really be.
The moral of the story is:

Quick Question: Will the Friday test day also be running the long circuit?
they need special ok from MNZ to race long track according to Steve the promotions manager... so not something they will do for a test day.... they also need a lot more marshals....
think of it as practice for nationals/new tracks, having to get familiar with a track in a short time :)

Never too old to ride Shaun, Just cant ride as fast as you use too. Life is far too short as it is so 1 must make the most of it while they can.
If you can't compete at least you can be there supporting those who can, which is the next best thing and appreciated by those who make it all happen out there on the race track.

Exactly, most riders know what time the gates open and what time sign on starts. It gets very hectic in the sign on office with the problems we get at times which take time to solve and therefore put us behind. We all do our best on the day.

It might help if people filled out there log book in advance(seeing as they most likely triple check they have all their gear the night before),made sign in their first priority and turned up on time.Surely if we all formed up for briefing early we would be sending the message we are keen to start riding on time. After all we are the ones that lose laps.Lets get ourselves orginised also.

Yes Ken I think it would be best you keep both hands on the bars. Should be some close and exciting Racing this Saturday in the Superbike Class, seen that we have out there Stroud, Shirriff, Fitzgerald, Skachill and Galway and now Frost..
And peeps get to watch this lot FOR FREE?!!! Stroudy on the new K9? Should be a good show....hmmmmm, racing or watching? racing or watching? Tough choice..........I'll play it by ear on the day.

This is maybe the wrong forum... but... The catering firm at the track... have they considered selling things like fruit and other nice stuff that a competitor would like to chew on!?

Unfort we as a club have no say over the Catering side, that is organised by Manfield and it is on a tender/contract basis with them directly. Hopefully if your primed with enuff of the greasy dogs you'll glid around the track for an awesome finish eh.....

Being involved with the committee I have an obvious bias, but on race day I'm just another competitor. I'd like to say that the total crew running the meeting today are an outstanding bunch of people who put huge work into making the meetings happen:first:. You are all awesome and I'm proud to be associated.
Now, who do I have to blow to have 5 seconds subtracted from my lap-times?

Great to see Stroudy getting the K9 sorted. Superbikes would have been very average if he hadn't showed up. One race each to Craig,Hayden and Andrew.
Whats the guts with Chopper. Is he going to come back from Oz and make a guest appearance one day.

Aww shucks
I just have a really good bunch of volunteers who are pretty dedicated to racing.
I would name them all here but they would just get embarrassed (and with my memory for names I am likely to leave someone off the list).
But thanks must go to VMCC it's the way they look after the volunteers that makes it easier for me to get people to turn up to help.
Roll on the 2 day meeting :2thumbsup
