assuming riding dirt bikes rather than the road commute, ive done tween 10 and 20, but only got a bike in march, and the wheathers been fairly miserable since, expecting to put in some good hours soon

It's the 'why I won't buy a boat' arguament.

It is tough enough finding/making time to go for a ride, but still a hell of a lot easier.

This year been shit for riding. Either have no money or no time.
Last year was riding every week and sometimes twice a week.
Get real grumpy when I have not been on the bike for awhile. Hopefully changing things in my life really soon and will be able to get back out every week again.

I don't have a dirt bike, only a couple of road bikes. But it appears I've done more off road riding on my road bikes than many of you on your dirt bikes.

well i dont pay for the oil ELF give it to me so i just change it every second ride as a general rule. But at a guess im on the 3rd pack and there is 1 change left in it so that is 11 changes which is 22 rides if i didnt miss one or two out.

"upgraded" my bike in November..... from a 230-250, bike had 30 odd hrs on it when 'new' and now sitting at about 75 - not all of that has been riding as such, some in the shop, some fkn around getting it set up for me.

Lucky girl, big kids at school, little kid at home based care two days a week, try to get out every Wed in between drop offs and pick ups of said kids, and live 10 min from the sandpit........ sounds pretty good really - dosnt really factor in all the working my ass off around getting out to ride

heh heh heh :devil2:

What's your excuse? I've been in China 2 months of this year.

Normally I get out every second weekend, but work seems to taking over my life...... :(

Few road bikers in there I think as DIRT biking isn't in the title and they didn't read the post. Sarge or Dangerousbastard for instance doesn't list an MX or enduro bike and they've never posted on here, But I could be wrong???

Not sure if hours cruising gravel roads is quite the same as a hard out forest or MX ride there jantar. I certainly couldn't do 6 or 8 hours in a day enduro but I could adventure riding.

the two month it took me to fix my crank seal will do for an excuse for now

the two days of the weekend seem to disapear pretty quick on days usually stuff around the house fixing somthing getting crap from the shop etc leaves one day to do fun stuff and there are other things to do
want to ride more though

That doesn't include gravel roads, or it would be over 60 hours. I have only included actual offroad time. ie riding over the Dunstan range, or climbing Cairnmuir, etc.

And no, there is no mx, enduro or any other competition type time included. I gave up that type of riding over 25 years ago.

Yes, well if I could remember what hrs were on the bike when I bought it, I could tell you.
We were talking about this the other day, would have to be in excess of 50 for the last yr.
But remember we are noobs and need to ride twice as oftern to get half as good as someone who has riden twice as long for half the time ....

LOL

I ride almost everday (commute to work and back) and then the scenic ride whenever I can get out. So lots of hours so far this year. The weather is getting better too so making the commute even more fun.:Punk:.
Hate using the cage now, get real frustrated when I have to use it and in traffic.:angry2:

Did just over 100hrs when had the KLX, had a great years riding. Then the economy soiled itself & business been a half flush away from going down gurgler ever since. Had to sell my semi decent car buy cheap heap to allow enough dough to buy another bike. Only done 37 hrs in last 10 months.

I used to clock up over 100 hours a year when i went to school and just started to work. Now with other projects on the go and cost of getting a petrol hungry van to each ride i probobly get 50 in per year.
