Save your cash and buy a CBR250. You won't regret it.

Yes you will, when you realise how close you were to affording a CBR600RR.

Honda CBR250RR MC22 is one of the best 250cc motorcycle money can buy as what I've heard.

Don't bother removing your standard mufflers baffles, or drilling holes in it - that will sound like crap - better left standard.

You should get advice from the shop on which handle bars will fit - not worth making mistake with this item.

Twin headlights - don't know about that - others here will. Lighting with twins is quite likely to be worse than standard, so if you do a lot of night riding you might want to reconsider. Take a look at blue 9000k H4 HIDs, which look really cool, but possibly won't pass a WOF (easy to swap out for the WOF check.)

Have fun!

dont waste your money, how long will you be keeping the bike?? wanting a "fast" 250 is like wanting to be the worlds tallest dwarf, leard to ride on this bike and when you are able buy a bigger bike, spending money on the hyosong wont make it worth any more come selling time

Agree with jimjim. I got my oldest a 250 and did some work on it. Got it going faster and humming. Next was the plan of making it look like a Norton Player replica. Had all the stuff planned.

Then I picked up a 400cc bike. He had a ride on it and had no interest in the 250 anymore. No matter what I would have done to it.

Apart from some few riders (the above mentioned tall dwarfs), nobody stays on a 250 when they have their full license and can get something bigger and better.

Now my boy has his eyes on a 750 and the 400 will be surplus very soon.

Use the 250 to learn on, save up the $$'s, and when you get the full license sell her/trade in and use the money you did not waste on the Hyosung to get something that you can travel with.

Good Luk!

It his bike and his money. Let him do what he wants!

Of course I would say that, seeing as my GT250 has a SD exhaust and Woodcraft Billet Aluminium Clip-ons

Put the noisy exhaust on it at least. It makes a fooken massive difference to the grin factor of the bike. I did it for $75.
