Hello folks, I have just graduated from my first bike (Honda GC125) to a real bike, and i'm having definately enjoying the upgrade. I brought it from a guy who put a lot of work into it.

Keen to hear your thoughts, and also any reccomended upgrades and modifications I can do to further improve this bike and make it more "my own".

Thats very nice. I don't know that I would do much to it. Maybe spice up the footpegs a bit and lower the bars perhaps. Maybe a wilder cam and bigger carb for a bit more snort 'n snarl. Add some cartridge emulators to the forks and upgrade the rear shock.

Nice bike - wouldn't mind one just to polish 'n ride now 'n then.

Great Bike , ride mine every day to work and often just for a blat around the bays at lunch. I put some tomaselli clipons on mine, lower and adjustable in three directions. I think your bike looks great as is though. : )

I had a full fairing put on mine (see post 7, http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php?t=4661). It was made by a company in Hamilton and the plug was based on an RZ 350 Yamaha fairing IIRC.

Thanks for all of the comments, I like how it looks now also... I just feel a little lazy as I have not done any of the work to it myself ;)

Your bike looks great with the fairing, i'm not really sure if thats quite what i'm going for with mine though - I love the classic look of these bikes...

Leave it as it is, look fine to me, plus when you sell it, it will be worth more. You can go overboard with mods, there's a few bikes on trademe that look like someone has vomited on them, no surprise they haven't sold.

The bike is at it's best right now. Ride it, enjoy it, and be glad someone else did the hard work!
