Hi, I'm trying to find out if there is anyone in NZ that imports Icon Women's Bombshell Motorcycle Boots. Or if there is a good company overseas to get them from.
Cheers.

Never heard of them. I've just bought a pair of RJ's and they are wonderful

The bombshell boots have a wedge heel, which means I can touch the ground on either side of my bike though, which would be a bit helpful. I looked a a RJ pair, almost a cowboy looking boot, which had a heel, but it's not in my size.

Mine does not look like a cowboy boot at all - but I don't like boots that come up your leg, so mine is a short boot

I've never seen them here, but they are one sexy looking pair of boots! If you're 100% on the size you want, check out ebay.

Most good shoe repairers are more than capable of building up the soles on your boots. Best to get something that fits well, has good weather protection and, most importantly, is built for "woman the rider", rather than "woman the pillion".

You are right Hitcher - its the same with Dragon jeans and riding pants - alot of the time they are manufactured for the pillion - not the rider

Icon gear is not imported in to this country.
Your best bet is to import it yourself from the USA.
I personally like the icon gear, i imported a set of gloves about over 3 years ago, and they are still going strong,

Really, I found the dragon jeans quite comfortable?
Yeah ebay might the way to go, unless I can convince my birth father in the states to send some over for me... Wonder how that would go down?

I noticed that Icon do a set of white pants too, I'm looking at getting a white jacket, but New Zealand doesn't seem to get white pants in either. Do you know if there pants are decent? Since they seem to have a range of decent looking female gear.

No idea, all i have to go on is my gloves, which i really like. And plan on getting an icon jacket at some stage.
But you might have issues keeping white pants, white.

I don't mind a bit of dirt on my pants, least they noticeably used. I can't keep anything clean so I doubt white will be much different.

Cant be bothered starting a new post so here it is,
Im looking at the Gaerne Black Rose ladies boots, but cant find anything about them on the net etc etc, so i was just wondering if anyone has them and what they think of them? and most importantly,.....are they comfertable!?

I found that most wouldn't do up easily around my calves. Ended up with Oxtar Sunrays which fit perfectly. The only thing was lack of height when straddling my bandit. Solution: built up soles (like Hitcher mentioned) - see pix in my "platform inserts" thread if interested. I think they're perfect now, but might not be everyone's cup of tea.
Oh, and slofox, sure you didn't read it as "I like women in boots".....?

Mate, if you look like this, no one cares about what type of motorcycle boots you wear...

I care what boots I wear. Having been Miss New Zealand before, and blonde as well, I do kind of look like that.

Have you heard of Kerrie at MSW in St Kevin's Arcade (K Road)? She makes made-to-measure leather bike gear. If you want white leather pants or a leather jacket in a custom colour, she's the woman to see!

This site (http://stores.shop.ebay.com/Flyin-Brians-Deals__W0QQ_armrsZ1) may be of use if you want to import Icon gear from the US. I have bought all of my gear from Brian and, at times, received up to USD $130 discount off the purchase price using the "Best Offer" function.
