I picked up the last 2 issues at the local magazine shop today and was very impressed. Even better than TBAM in my opinion.

Also check out www.offroadexplorer.com Australian based ADV site. They also have a forum. Wonder if we can get them to make a New Zealand sub forum?

Let me know what you think?

Only had a quick look so far but there appears to be more big bike stuff in there which appeals to me.

Was it a chain store or a local outfit you got it from?

What about holeshot.co.nz

Are they catering for ADV locally?

They look like solely MX.

Got it from local mag shop in Waiuku. Not chain store.

Latest issue (#24) has an article on an R1200GSA that has been fitted with 21" and 18" rims and lots of other farkles. Owned by the owner of adventuremoto in aus.

Funny you posted this as I have just finished reading the latest Trailzone & I think it is the best bike mag out there. However it may have been an exceptionally good issue as it is the first one I read.

I find the trouble with TBAM is that it is aimed at the huge 450cc market that must be the prominent style & size of bike popular over there. The last issue of TBAM I read had a shootout of about 6 x 450cc bikes & from the sounds of it you could have had any of them painted white & they would all pretty much have the same handling & power etc.

That GS looks like the business

I first got the June issue of Trailzone, then just bought July's. Totally agree.
For my money, it's the best Aussie trail/adventure mag Ive seen.
The DVD with the June issue was a bloody good watch too.
For those in Nelson, The Magazine Shop in the city and Paper Plus Richmond are two shops I know who stock it.
