I'll most likely be leaving some time Saturday afternoon and staying at some cheap B&B around Tamaranui then getting up and riding the last 30 mins to the event.

Or might decide to get up early Sunday but thats not the prefered option for me.

Finally lol.

Myself and VTWIN are leaving together, so would be great to ride up with other Welly (or thereabouts) riders. We are leaving on the Saturday, staying at a motel right next to the track, and we need to be there somewhere around 5pm (give or take).

Any ideas?

Are you going to take a direct route or a scenic one?

I'll watch how this progresses and see if I can catch up with the group depending on which way your going.

And turn the Hasslehoff experiment off please its hurting my eyes

How's about those who are going up on Saturday meet at the mobil Paraparaumu 10am and head on up to Wanganui ( lunch )
Tackle the Parapara's....on to National Park then round the mountain and finally Taupo.

Just finished painting the rear farings, they look better than before. But still a lil Meh.. :shifty:
Bike should be on the road tomorrow..now to geta warrent and rego :D

Oh and the plates made up :D

Anything that looks like it could fall off has been zip-tied to the bike, inclueding me on the day..:laugh:

Watched the weather on the TV.....looks 50/50 at the moment for the weekend.

I will be heading from NPL to Wanganui and heading up the same way as you folk, what time do you think you will be leaving Wanganui?

Whats the problem is it the bike ?
Is it Frostys riding gear requirement?

Stink :confused: I guess it's not just the extra $30, but also the fuel up there, back and on the track. I know myself, these things add up quick. Don't sell your slot unless you absolutely have to :'(

should do a bit of a head count of who's going.

I assumed NC was going to Taupo. I'm still not totally decided as Napier is good as I have rellies I can stay with but Wanganui is a much more interesting ride just have to pay to stay somewhere when I get up there.

How many Welling people are on the list? Is White Thrash riding up or taking a support vehicle (maybe NC could get her bike driven up or down)

Great show of support for helping this young lady out.

Hes talking of doing the round trip on sunday... I will be heading up to Napier at some stage on Saturday, leaving from Wellington CBD. I am no longer planning on going to watch the D1 at manfield as my mates car is not going to be ready in time. So who else is riding wellies > napier on saturday?
