Restricted test route in Kapiti?

Hi All,

I have just booked my restricted for next Thursday in Kapiti and was wondering if any of you had any ideas of the route or what to expect, other than what is outlined in the road code?

I tend to suffer from test nerves too, so any tips on that would be gratefully received!!

From memory the test goes from AA down towards the beach then back up over the tracks where you will do the u-turn and other basic handling skills etc.
Then back down SH1 towards Raumati. Then back to AA to hear your results.

Many thanks Sparky. I think having even a basic idea of where I might be going will calm my test nerves. Will bear all you say in mind on Thursday.

A couple of the wonderful WIMA ladies took me out yesterday and put me through my paces too. Hope it's enough!

Nailed it!! It was easy as. The testing officer forgot to bring the one-way radio so I got to follow him in his car!! How easy is that?

No u-turn, no hill start. Will see if I can piece the route together on Google Maps and post it up.
