Someone needs to educate the environmentalists on the basic fundamentals of H20.

Its all part of global warming and we have to do our bit.
Personally I'm with Greenpeace, and we need a 40% reduction in emissions urgently.
Food production is New Zealand biggest source of emissions.
Id like to see food production halved and retail prices for food items tripled.
This alone would help us meet the target, and could be implemented overnight.
Transport is our next biggie, and electricity a little bit as we have a lot of hydro.
A simple doubling of fuel and electricity costs (and of course bus and train fares) would then put us completely on target for our 40% reduction.
To get a 50% reduction would be harder.
We would have to reduce food production to starvation levels, at least for the poor. But we only have one planet, and we should protect it.

Wouldn't the emissions from the decaying peasants' become another factor in the green's argument?

Hmm, I have no problem getting it down the drain - our shower is one of the new type where they put the drain at the lowest point.
