Read from bottom to top.

1542 - The session has still not yet been restarted but just before the red flag came out Troy Corser went quickest in this session with a 1m34.3
1536 - That's now official, the red flag was called due to oil on track from Stroud's machine
1534 - The red flag may have been called due to possible oil left on the track from Stroud's machine seems to be the general consensus but no official verdict has come through yet
1530 - The red flag just came out with a little over 15 minutes remaining in this session, not sure what for as yet
1525 - Ben Bostrom seems to be making a little progress, 16th fastest thus far. Kiwi Andrew Stroud having some problems though as he pulled off the circuit with problems on his bike that involved a lot of flames
1519 - There really is plenty of Pirelli smoke going into the atmosphere at Phillip Island this afternoon, lots of riders absolutely frying the rear bag between turns 11 and 12

Its hard to tell from that if its actually shit itself, had a fuel leak or something else that caught fire. Maybee the red flag was just a precausion incase he had left something on the track.

Haydon Fitzgerald had a DNF.

Atleast Rees and Clee are doing ok.

i guess when ya try to make a 165hp bike keep up with 200hp bikes, you start to stretch the freindship a lil:doh:

Well hes out in the warmup so things can't have been that bad.

Gezz they are going slow now. Its wet over there today.

One the upside that makes Strouds bike more competitive I guess.

Where did you find the results re Hayden? How did Karl Morgan do?

And how about Tony Rees (and I think Ray Clee) in the Superbike support races?

http://www.mcnews.com.au/ look under late breaking news.

Rees end up 9th overall and Clee 18th. Stroud 12th overall. Good results for Rees and Stroud against that level of competition.

Hayden had a 12th and 2 DNFs I think
