They've a bike I'm very interested in ('06 Speedmaster) but I've never had any dealings with them (hadn't actually heard of the place until this week to be honest).

Any KB members bought bikes from them and how did you go?

Thanks in advance.

They are like any other bike shop about the place

I bought my first suzuki off them in 1971, then my second one off them the very next year. I stopped dealling with them when they changed to Honda exclusively in 1974. Then once they moved back to Suzuki I started dealing with them again.

Like most bike shops they like to turn a profit, but at the same time they are prepared to deal to keep customers coming back.

Overall I would rate them as above average for motorcycle shops. They stand behind there bikes and gear and are also well liked by those who work for them.

Cheers lads. Can't beat personal recommendation. May be buying the bike sight-unseen so it's good to hear positive comments.

That's a kind offer thanks. I've emailed them tonight asking for some higher resolution pics. If all looks good I suppose I should just fly down and pick it up.

Thanks for the offer just the same. May take you up on it shortly.

Cheers. Knowing how impatient I am I could be riding it around Christchurch by Tuesday... Then trade it back in by Saturday.

Thanks for that but baby minding duties tomorrow whilst the wife works, then bloody work on Monday. I'll get onto it though. It's the Speedmaster they've got on TradeMe that I'm interested in:

Thanks for the feedback. Bought the bike over the phone based on trust and high resolution pics. :-)))

Excellent service (even airport collection). Bike was in mint condition. Had a brilliant ride back.
