Hi there, I have a 93 Ducati 900ss that has developed a small crack in the swingarm (Just near the front pivot).

Does anyone know if that would be easy to fix and someone good to fix that around Wellington?

Cheers

Welcome Nuxx.

There is a brand new one for sale on trade me here (http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/Motorbikes/Motorbike-Parts/Other/auction-24955521.htm), still in the bubble wrap apparently.

Buy now on it is $200 but it's set as a no reserve with first bid at $140.

I'm even going up there from Welly in 2 weeks so maybe could bring it back if you got it.

you didnt happen to buy your bike from a guy named 'Stew Mills'?????
Yeh the crack in the swingarm apparently is common place (for the 900ss) enough that ducati did a semi recall aparently??? My dads mate stew was suppose to get his fixed that way

'Ducati crack'?

That must be why everyone keeps referring to Haldanes as 'the dealers'...

once upon a time i had a 94 600ss, when i went to sell it i found out that the bushes in the rear susp pivot were stuffed and caused some damage to the pivot.
i reconmend that you check those to make sure that they are not part of the problem as well, go along and see pat at motomart if you cant fix it. he regularly goes to japland to get bits and bobs and should be able to sort you out (worse case).
