For those who take delight in a good inane self congratulatory post please accept my 2c worth.
...After breaking my foot, and bike in May. I RODE FOR THE FIRST TIME YESTERDAY AFTERNOON AND THIS MORNING COMPLETED THE NORTHWESTERN COMMUTE TO WORK.... :Punk::Punk::Punk:
And it gets better, after the initial Bikes are BAD, Trackdays are BAD, You're BAD, I have managed to get a Business case approved by the better half for a second bike and a trailer for transporting it (an old 400 to be used as a track bike).
Hallelujuh ! Life is good once again.
Oh, and if Maha is looking: While indulging in the rare practice of starting a thread, Id like to include that I got a speeding ticket ! <_< (The same day I fell off and broke my foot too :stupid:)
Anyway that's all, as you were, theres nothing to see here !

hahaha, absoloutely, I took the completely opposite tact and ignored it completely. In fact, I ignored it so long the the cops gave up and sent it to the courts to follow up and it ended up costing me an extra $30

While on the subject of breaking feet, I see over on ADVrider that a petite little Swedish lass competing in the Australian Safari on a Husaberg, managed to drive a stick through her boot and deep into her ankle. The timber was about 1 cm in diameter from the photos and she was about 50 km into a 250 km stage at the time.
She completed the stage and then the ambos extracted the wood and she went on to complete the rally.
One tough lady!

Photos toward the bottom of this page if you don't mind them a bit grisly

And into the bargain, the owner of said bike didn't return my call today...
Anyway, now that I work with one of the cage drivers that parks there Ive got my own personal parking spot behind her, so you "ordinary bike" owners can fight it out amongst yourselves :bleh:

aha... Not quite. While Ive scored the goodies, Ive got 3 months of "overdue chores around home to complete" first. At this stage October will be the magic month.

Hahah fair enough. Gotta work your way out of the dog box bit by bit.
No harm waiting for it to warm up anyway.
