ALL ATTENDING TRACK DAY 10TH APRIL PLEASE READ

Im sorry to sound like a right mr Hitler here but please read through this carefully.
I want one and all to have a bloody good time so there are some points that are NON negotiable.


1) Bike setup/gear setup.
Bike MUST be able to pass a WOF EXCEPT RE LIGHTS AND MIRRORS. or pass scrutineering (for A RACE BIKE)
No leaking fluids.
MIRRORS must be removed or duct taped over completely.
headlights will be checked and GLASS headlights will have at least a X of duct tape on them.
Riding gear-A full face helmet good fitting with no damage into the shell.
gloves,bike boots,cudura 2 piece,leather one piece or two piece.
The onus is on YOU to make sure you pass scrutineering. If you dont and we cant get your gear or bike up to scratch then you wont be riding

2 Rules for the day
1 Show concideration for everybody else out there
2 Stick to your line -Dont try to get out of anybodys way or deliberately block.
3 when overtaking make sure you can do so safely.If in doubt -DON'T
4 should the front or back wheel come off the ground by "accident" make sure noones around you when you're doing it.
5 slow group riders are only to pass on the back straight before the braking cones
6 Touring group riders -no passing between hairpin and the right hander.-cones will be out to mark these points.
7 Fast group ref rule 3 also first session overtaking on the outside except on the straight.
8 if you see a flag waving anywhere on the track pull into the pits straight away -the clock will be stopped on your session so ya aint gonna miss out on laps. ANYONE trying to sneak an extra lap will miss out on the rest of that session.
9 If a slower rider is holding you up either rule 3 or ride slowly through the pits and let em get ahead. -again--it aint a race.
10 when leaving the track hold your left hand up to let other riders know.
11 if you are unlucky enough to run off the track raise your hand in the air to let us know you're ok.
12)dont look back except on the back straight before braking cones

14--HAVE FUN-- LOTS N LOTS OF FUN

If you disobey these rules for first offence you may miss your next session and be a flag marshal at lunch time.
Second offence and potentially thats ya day finished.

Blatantly dangerous riding or riding under the influence of Alchohol or non medicinal drugs will not be allowed. Zero tolerance.You will be sitting out the rest of the day.
Again guys N gals I really want one and all to have a good time so these rules are to protect us all.

Ok decision made- directly after the lunch break there will be an "acceleration and braking practice" session. This is the way its going to work - we will line up in twos 50 metres down the straight. On the drop of a flag, the two riders will accelerate as fast as they can. When they get to the braking cones they will then brake as hard as they can. The "purpose" of this is to practice emergency braking. We want you to stop as fast as possible, then you will carry on very slowly around the track to form up back at the end of the line. If you should loft your front wheel, or whilst practicing your emergency braking, lift your rear wheel, I will of course assume it was completely by accident. For anybody worried about this, the track is as wide at that point as a four lane highway, so there is no chance of two bikes coliding.

This session will last 20 minutes and will let the marshals have a decent lunch.

There is a serious side to this and I hope newer riders will take advantage of this, to quite seriously find their personal and their bike's braking limits in a safe environment.

Marshalls get 2 track sessions .One at lunch time and one at the end of the day. Also the VERY slow ride is for everyone including marshalls.

kinda could arrange that.. most of the big bikes will have their back seats (and I can bring mine), so just get some small person who's confident on the back of the bike, and snap away. I'm also bringing my camcorder too. Tankcam and rearcam and trackcam :Punk:

Shit it almost was a TL498? Then it turned into a 250bhp motogp bike sliding the rear wheel every which way, oh no wait it was an oil leak on the rear cylinder covering the rear tyre in oil. Then it was a dead TL again coz some clown forgot to connect the fuel pump up again :Pokey: then it went okay with 15psi in the front tyre (made for interesting wheelie landings) then it was good with full psi front and rear, still a little twitchy, only to find the f#$%&^& s#@$%^*$ a^& b#$#%^& has f*&(^^$ c(*&^*&%$, you'll find out on sunday, but it's gonna make for an interesting ride. Wheelies like a bitch though ( :2thumbsup )

But sure if you wanna go, anytime, it's already wastifyed anyway, if you damage it anymore i'll give you a medal.
