Much loved GSXR up for grabs. Limited Edition Alstare Rep factory paint job. Less than 20 in the country. Forget the boring blue/white suzuki scheme!!
A few minor fairing/exhaust scratches but generally very tidy.
Supercorsa tyres, brand new chain & sprockets, brake pads replaced, still 7 months to go on the warranty. Fully serviced at authorised Suzi dealers. Crash bungs included (RHS fitted, LHS fairing not yet cut to fit bung)

Willing to negotiate on price but I'm not in any hurry to sell so offers need to be reasonable.

no no, new bike in the offering. I just want to move away from being tempted to do the speeds the GSXR so gladly offers on public roads. Wife was a bit upset when she heard about Sudeep and I buggering off in the hosing rain on the way down to the rally and i kinda decided i've been lucky on the open road and want to ease off while my luck holds.

As you may have read, i'm looking at a supermotard replacement to keep the thrills, have cheaper spills, and learn how to do right nice one wheeled frills :msn-wink:

so who wants it?

Gee - now isn't that a case of the pot calling the kettle black - you reap what you sow? Is that how the saying goes. I hope humble pie is tasty

actually, I suspect that I mistakenly shot past her car one day on the arterial utilising lane 1A while the traffic was at a stand still! That may have something to do with it!

What's with this critical spirit and attitude that you have returned to KB with Dan? :angry2:

No critical spirit at all - you seem to mistake blunt, unpolished honesty for 'anger' or 'scepticism'.

Should really dig Richard's post up to my thread if I could be arsed - which I can't. No mind - It is bloody funny that is all......funny how things come full circle. I couldn't give a rats arse - but the poetic justice of the whole situation is just so fucken funny!

Agreed. Untill looking at the actual picture I always thought the bike looked rather wierd judging from your avatar. Now I see it's a mack-mobile. It even has arrows on the ground pointing to it, how good is that!?

ok ok so how much is it?

crop tool? i don't need no stinking crop tool. its sex on wheels all right? you can see that quite clearly!

I did actually put the price on the trader article but didn't make it to the post (that I didn't know I was creating... odd!)

I'm asking about $11,500 frosty. brand new the stock blue/white, copper/black models were retailing for $15k but they managed to bring these in a bit cheaper (dwindling population though due to road/track attrition so the uniqueness will only be increased over the next few years as they get written off!)

k3 etc = suzuki being poncy. k abbreviation for kilo or 1000... hence k3 means '1000' 3 ... or '2003'. should grammatically be 3K of course but not as marketable or some such rubbish I guess!

in which case, wouldn't it be kk3 (1000 1000 3) or 2k3?

Gremlin

but the bikes only 1000cc. Some might think that its a 2 litre bike, then get all confused... Imagine what it could do (in straight line of course)

Coldkiwi
14th April 2005, 12:26
ok, getting silly... its a GSXR 600 k3 remember? not a 1000cc. Still goes like stink though :)
