I've used this as a starting point in my classes, they update it every so often to reflect the exponential trends in the way our world is so dynamic.

Its cool watching the little lights click on in the student's heads when they begin to comprehend some of the facts (of which I also challenge them on about its veracity).

There is a site .. teachertube.com which has quite a few cool educational clips like this. The pithy end simple sentence is this ... "Shift Happens"
