heres a piccy of Marty Dickerson doing i think 147mph in leathers. He told me that he was frightened his pants [2 peice leathers] would be ripped off as you can see how the air hasmade a not very aerodynamic feature on his arse.
They didn't come down and both Marty and Rollie Free were on the vincent brochure of the time

So I'm presuming they sit on the bike normally and wring it out getting it into top gear, then somehow get into that position for the last 4-5 miles to get absolute top speed :blink: Hard case.
