I would be surprised if there is another major band that has had so many changes in line up. The only constant was/is Mick.

The guy in your avatar picture got married with that silly haircut. He was in the middle of filming a series and had no choice.

They were a much more interesting band in the Peter Green era, IMO. Very Yardbirdsy british psychedelia. I would like to see them but have other priorities for the money. I do love the Rumours album though. and Tusk.

So Stevie Nicks was true to her word, she said I'd like to bring the band to this brilliant arena, she must've convinced the band to perform outdoors,a big reason they hadn't been back.

But that was 30 yrs ago lol, they have shagged other members since then lol, shame Chris isn't coming with them if it is true.Amazing doco on prime couple of weeks ago, from beginning to almost modern day, great insight, and showed they have professionalism to perform and record the great albums and tours while embroiled in internal matters, imagine working at your peak with a guy who is shagging your ex partner, who was your partner probably a month or so earlier.

If im still in the country ill go for sure. I went to Stevie Nicks in 2006, she was fantastic! Some family members paid stupid $$$ to sit front & centre while a couple of us had general admission (was still $100 :(). We were almost front & centre sitting under the massive oak tree. It started raining part way through & we didn't get a drop on us, can't say the same for the others

Saw them at western Springs during their Tusk era. Excellent apart from Stevie doing a big tearful "band's breaking up" act.
I did however hear a recent recording played by a New Plymouth announcer on NewstalkZB that definitely wasn't a good advertisement for FM. If that is what they are sounding like now there's going to be some very disappointed people at the concert :(

Let's hope this word is true
Word is that during the tour the band is sticking closely to its 1975 self-titled album, the first to feature the Buckingham-Nicks combo, and its follow-up two years later, Rumours, one of the biggest-selling albums of all time.

Actually I offered to stay at the motel with the kid so the wiff can go with her mates, may seem soft but I'm off racing either weekend at Chch & Taupo & I'd rather race than be go to the concert. Oldie concerts are such a risk. My sister went 30 yrs ago, that would have been great.

Yeah na they put up plywood. No chance to sneak in anywhere, although theer is a great spot by the zoo that has a picnic table & it's real close to the fence so you get a good level of sound but just no visual's. Good for those times when you like the band but not an absolute fav or the ticket price is madness

I have come away with a new appreciation of the talent that each and every one of them have. Lyndsay Buckingham was legendary, both on vocals and guitar. Stevie.... well hey, what needs to be said there! Mick Fleetwood's prowess on the drums is second to none. John McVie's bass skills.... awesome!
Pissed with rain most of the concert, but WELL worth going.

New Plymouth often seem to turn it on - they've used that natural asset very well.
In some ways, I'm glad it's not in Auckland, cos the NIMBYs would fuck it right up.
