36 rear, 34 front is a good place to start on the road I've found. And yes to the front tyre size. they're bloody hard to get tyres for.

That's all good, but do try and get a feel for how easily they lock on the dry and maybe drop a pound (for urban riding) to see if it is better.

Everywhere I google, I read the same info, which is very different from supplied here before.

I believe it should be 36psi FRONT and 42psi REAR, no ?

Cos its only a 250 run about 36-38 rear and 32-34 front . All tyres that fit the lil hornet are made for bigger bikes so the 250 will not work them properly so you run them softer than you would on the 92-99 Fireblade which those fronts are made for .
The 16' fronts aren't hard too find you just have to look in the right place , I have 2 on my shelf .
