Aussie man glued to toilet in 'sick' prank

http://www.nzherald.co.nz/world/news/article.cfm?c_id=2&objectid=10592874

While I am sure the intent was to be "funny" the result for the victim is a very long way removed from that.

What do you think would be a suitable way to punish the dickheads responsible for this?

Im sorry and although I do appreciate the humiliation this guy went through I did kind of piss myself just a little when I read the story. Only cause he was OK though...

This is NZ. Physically humiliating someone is encouraged, and you get extra points if it is out and out bullying.

An eye for an eye. Glue their sorry asses to a seat, in a public place, and then lets see how funny it is.

Like I said, I am sure the intent was amusing, but seriously, how do you reckon you would feel if it was you that was glued to a toilet seat and had to go through what that man did. I very much doubt you would see anything remotely funny about it. In fact I would hazard a guess that the industrial solvents they had to use to remove the seat from your arse would not be a pleasant thing to have applied at all.

Sad eh?

So that toilet has no seat now....I suppose the police are looking into it...but they probably have nothing to go on...

Chances are it is just some kids. That being the case some community service helping others less fortunate would seem appropriate - plus an apology.

Trust me, I have had some terribly humiliating things happen to me in my lifetime. I now look back on alot of them and laugh. Sure the guy was humiliated and what happened to him is nasty but the way that story was written had a humorous undertone to it IMO...

We had an anti smacking bill introduced ... an anti joke bill as well ??? ...

If you can get arrested for flicking your kids ear in public (oh the embarrasment),this sort of thing should get the police attention pretty fast. Maybe a "quota" for sick jokers ???

Having just watched Casino Royale the other night, I'm opting for (if they were male pranksters) the ole "remove the seat from a chair, strip them naked, tie them to said chair, and massage their dangly bits with a huge knotted rope".

All of this must be done in public naturally.

If the pranksters were girls, then strip 'em naked, spread eagle them and then apply and remove sanitary pads, sticky side down.

Why not just give the pranksters community service, 200 hours should do them right.

Well pranks are pranks, not many can say they havent enjoyed the good ole tricks. A stern apology and community service should be the appropriate punishment.

Knighthood?

Free tickets to the next Wirling Bros circus?

Seriously take a chill pill Mom, they didn't kill a cat or put a baby in a tumble dryer. Sure it was a little over the top, but hells bells, the guy suffered HUMILIATION!!! Shock horror!!! Nothing more. If he isn't the driest bastard on the face of the planet he will laugh his ass off about this in time to come

(see what I did there :shifty::killingme)

Anyway, movin right along to real issues, A muslim beauty queen admitted to drinking a beer in a nightclub in Kuala Lumpur recently & is facing a severe beating, now THAT is an outrage.

Perspective people, get some perspective

Well, it would be interesting to know what the chap's perspective of what was done to him is. But then, judging by comments on here, who the hell cares?:whocares: (Not to mention the prospect of how painful it may have been to have the dunny seat removed from his person?)

Shall I super glue your widdle collection of dangly things to a plastic seat, then you can let us know how trivial it is to get rid of it?

Collection? How many do you think I have? You been talkin to my mum again?

I would say lighten up but it seems you & a few others are just a little to precious for that. The guy suffered humiliation, that's it, get a grip.

ps: and yes ive had crazy shit done to me over the years, mates & I would pull pranks back n forth & everyone would take it on the chin. Some of them borderline at the time but mad funny later on, no harm done.

Punishment has to fit the crime so I'm in favour of toilet based punishment. Wiping peoples bums would be ideal, the incontinent for example but I don't think more people need to be embarrassed by these dickheads...

Mucking out the stalls of sick or injured animals night be the go, or cleaning toilets. Prsion toiltes would be good because I'm sure some of those boys or girls have a sense of humour and would save up an extra special delivery just for them.

That's about right, but still community service could embarrass the pranksters. Wearing orange suits in broad daylight picking up rubbish next to a main road can be very embarrassing for some. Doing it for days on end amounts to something big.

Exactly, though I find it difficult to buy into the OP's & some others senitments, not exactly crime of the century

My Grandad was in a rest home up until June of this year, used to visit him twice a week & would sometimes be there when it was time for the loo, twas my first experience doing that kinda thing. That would be a fitting punishment for these clowns I reckon, go wipe old peoples bums for a month

I agree with the first part, but with one drop holds a ton elephant glue the bond to skin is near instant.
That said, an older person with failing eyesight may not see a clear liquid perhaps?
