Ok people, a time limited offer here, I have another bike lined up & want this gone ASAP hence the mad low price. Only doing this because the bike im interested in is a mad low price. So if you get cracking & buy this within the time frame required (ie the other bike is still available for me to buy) then i'll honour this crazy price. But as soon as the bike im oggling is sold this deal is no longer available.
Ka pesh?
The Bike: A one off 1997 Kawasaki ZX7R.
Painted in striking candy apply green. I have a pot of matched paint for touch ups. The previous owner had a very low speed off & was a car painter so did it himself. A lot of people remark on the colour.
As you can see from the pics it has been modified in a few area's.
Firstly the tail is off a ZX7RR, custom tail tidy, rear LED indicators, LED lights in the bolts holding the licence plate, tinted double bubble, green anodised screen bolts, rear hugger & a custom built can that produces THE most intoxicating howl this side of the black stump, seriously this thing wail's!!!
The bike is lightened quite a fair bit from the 1) tail tidy 2) rear tail swap & 3) exhaust change, roughly a 10 kg saving. Was a noticable different in torque with the new can fitted, so probably producing slightly more HP than the factory 122.
Just changed the oil on August 20 & has a brand new set of Diablo Rosso's. The rear was changed about a month earlier so has about 400km's on it while the front only just recently & is barely scrubbed in. The disk's have no "lip" on them & are mint as they were machined late last year. The chain hardly ever needs tensioning so is obviously got a tonne of life left in it as with the sprockets. Brake pads are good. Fluids were changed late last year also, along with bleeding the front brake line. Fork seals were also done late last year. A brand new battery was fitted on the 6th August. I have the factory can also which is included with the sale if wanted. I had the suspension set back to factory settings which is how it should be for anyone first riding it as you can grow into the bike as soon as you are ready. The suspension is FULLY adjustable. Also has a different sprocket on the rear, apparently been like that from near new, it indicates the speed at 10km/h under so the 48,000k is more like 43,000k
Rego has 8 months left on it (9th April 2010)
WOF: Updated for 6 months on Thursday 20th August
Faults:
1) one of the green anodised bolts is missing but can be painted & replaced
2) not really a fault but one of the bar end weights fell off so removed the other. It is actually an impovement as the steering is lighter & faster.
3) various stone chips in the frontal region (as to be expected) & the tail has a few chips n small cracks (have a full pot of matched paint for this)
And lastly here's (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=huemmK7zTWg) a close sample of what it sounds like, not exact but close
