For those of you interested. In the last race meeting mella yella started running like a total bag of shit.spluttering and farting below 10 grand and not accelerating properly above that. Then he blew a huge mushroom cloud of steam as I pulled into the pits. :angry2: :angry2:
Thinking the worst I took him to GP motorcycles to suss out what was wrong.
Great news---the radiator was a bit clogged up. The clutch plates were worn out and slipping and the inlet manifolds had crapped out on number 2 and 2 letting in huge gulps of air.
Gary ran him up on the dyno for half an hour and other than the above thres nothing much wrong.
Now the really good news --now the motor has loosened up again and i've robbed about 3 hp by refitting the charging system the bike is putting out a whopping 69.8hp at the back wheel -Thats beforeI suss out the total loss electrics so I can take that hefty flywheel back off.
