Can someone please tell me where the solanoid for the headlight is ?

All other lights work, just not the main bulb which only works using the flashing switch. It does not work on low or high beem otherwise.

The bulb is good and the fuses are all good, thus leading the thought process to the solanoid.

If the Headlight doesnt work on low/high and only on pass then i'd put it on the Starter switch in the RHS switchblock (Headlight goes off when you press the starter with the usual design). Look for a broken wire/solder joint but also check the switch is returning to fully out. I dislike the Honda design. Yell out if you get stuck

What is a "solanoid" ?:lol::lol::lol:
Seriously , have you managed to find it? Do a search for a workshop manual.
Gi Joe or Toto might have a copy.

Thanks Squiggles, I shall be calling Botony Honda today to see if they can shed some light on it and possably fix it, if not I have a nice KB member in Henderson willing to take another look at it.

If I have no luck I will give you a holler

Botony Honda agree with you mate.
Are you familiar with the wiring in that unit? TXT me if you want to earn a box of beers :apint:

Squiggles is the man! He helped me with my indicator issues on my Volty once upon a time. He's incredibly handsome too, so you'll have to find a way to contain yourself Sharry.

What year Hornet do you have by the way? I'm probably gonna upgrade to a 600 when I get my full (and can afford it!) but there's bugger all of them on trademe! Those new ones are TEH SHIZ going by reviews I've read/watched.

I doubt Squggles will have much trouble containing himself though:lol:

Cherry is a 1998 girl. I have only seen two 2nd hand 600's for sale including my one. It's a great fit between the 250 and the 900.
