Thought seeing as everyone else has written a report maybe I should. I would normally wait till someone else in either posties or super lite would put up something then I would add my 5 cents worth.
Anyway traveling over from Wanganui I could see it was going to be an awesome day. Stopped at sanson for a coffee only to run into AJ our Steward for the day. Made a bold statement in saying "you not going to scrap me off any pavement today". That quickly forgotten we continued to Manfield. Did the usual sign on, unpack and talk shite. Riders briefing over and done with and then practice....
Well what a shambles, after 2 laps carnage everywhere and a BBQed Suzuki at the hairpin, was just getting into the groove to. Red flag and back to the pits. Thought they were going to clean up quickly and let us back out so I didn't put the tyre warmers back on, bugger. Then we get the call posties are off the back of clubman’s, holy shit check out the traffic, no way can I put in a decent lap time. Anyhow a 2:17 put me in 12th position on the start grid. Super Lite practice went a whole heap better with a 2:11 and 16th on the grid but they stuck some 125s in the mix which put me back to 19th.

Race 1 posties, not much to report in this one. Finished in 12th position (combined snr jnr) 10 secs clear of the next rider and a second slower then my SL practice.:bash:

Race 1 super lite went consistently backwards till Duncan past me then I managed to follow him round for a 17th and a PB time of 2:09.

Race 2 posties, decided to pull finger out. Made a few bold passing moves and made them stick. Finished 3rd in that junior race and a 2:10 lap time a second slower then the SL race 1.:bash: 4th in the post classic pre 89 junior for the round.

Race 2 super lite, 125s were moved to the back of the grid which moved me up to 16th. Had a blinder of a start but made some cock ups on the first lap, pull yah head in and ride I thought to myself. Put in some consistent lap times and finished in 14th a couple of seconds behind Neil, Leigh and Eamon. God dam those 400s are fast. Another 2:09 and 7th overall in SL for the round.
That’s it short and probably not so sweet.
Thanks to Vic club for another fantastic day in the sun, you guys rock.
See you all at the next round...

It's always good to see you and the KR1 at the track man. I miss the F3 and posties battles so reading these reports is good. Keep enjoying it.

Was awesome having you 125s out there. Like a swarm of killer bees carving up the super lites and pro twins

Maybe. If I can afford it I will try to get one more season in supersport so I can come to grips with riding a 600 how it should be, then do the 450 thing.
