What do you reckon the Top 3 Selling brands in NZ were in 08 - Large motorcycles category?

Green for first correct - in order (tradies who have the hard data stay out of it).

suzuki 1st
yamaha 2nd
kawasaki 3rd

Just a rough guess. And of course suzuki is first, i own one!

Sure they have the money to buy em but how many of those riders have been AWOL for a stack years prior to the new purchase... A fair proportion I'd say (met a few personally).

Yep - but it reflects changed circumstances and an empty nest - nada crisis - just the opposite.

Nice work - the last time I checked there (not too long ago) they were only up to 2005 figures.

Increase of approx 10,000 motorcycles every year is incredible!

IMHO- 500cc upward
I used to believe 750 up but modern 5-600's are just as fast when in good hands-

You'd be right on the money there Dave. I was waiting for Chooky at Kopu Mobil on Sunday and about 20 bikes pulled up: Gixxers, Aprilias, Dukes and other assorted big sports bikes. When the helmets came off, I doubt that any of them were under 55 and a few of them would have been well into their 60's.
