Hi Everyone
Just a reminder and details about a couple of different, but awesome events coming up…..
Firstly, Huka Honda 3 Hour Hare Scramble, Sunday September 6
This is at Iwitahi, on SH5, the Napier-Taupo road, 25k south-east of Taupo. It will be opposite Tahaura Road and very clearly signposted.
Sign in starts at 8am, riders briefing at 9.15am and racing starts at 9.30am
Classes:-Juniors, teams up to 85cc 2 stroke, 150cc 4 stroke
Juniors, teams up to 125cc 2 stroke, 250cc 4 stroke
Juniors, Ironman
Women's, teams
Women's, Ironwomen
Seniors, teams expert
Seniors, teams intermediate
Seniors, teams Vets 40 plus
Senior, Ironman
Women's and Juniors are 1.5 hour races on a 10-12k trail
Seniors race for 3 hours on a 20k loop
Shotgun start, dead engines
MNZ license needed or get a day one
Fire extinguisher compulsory
Trophies to third in each class

Secondly, Beach Racing, Rockforte Finance North Island Champs run by Gisborne MC Sports Club
This is at Makorori Beach, 8k north of Gisborne on SH35 on Saturday 19 September
Sign in at 9.45am, riders briefing at 10.15am and racing from 10.45 sharp (the tide waits for no one!)
Classes, Senior 0-125cc(practise plus 3 four lap races)
Senior 0-250cc(practise plus 3 five lap races)
Senior 0-500cc(practise plus 3 six lap races)
Senior Open(practise plus 3 seven lap races)
Senior ATV Open(demonstation class only)
Track is hard sand 800m straights (350 for ATV's) with two hairpins
MNZ license needed, no day licenses available
Raced whatever the weather
All road, MX, trail,enduro, ATV bikes welcome
All safety gear compulsory
$40 per class

HRCNZ has been to events run by both GMSC and Huka Honda. Both run fun, safe and well organised days catering for all levels of rider. Get out there and support these guys and have a ball whilst doing so.Three different days, all low key, great fun days racing, for all levels and abilities….what have you got to loose?
