Hi, new to the forum.
Found myself unable to find a manual for the bike and though to try here. Also trying to see if the mixture is too rich as the bike is smoking quite a bit. Not having a manual, dont know how to adjust it. The bike is 2002 and with very low Ks goes like a dream, just the smoke so far but who knows in the future. Bugger the $95/h fee at the shop.
Any ideas on the manual and/or how to adjust the mixture?

Sounds like the choke is left on, or maybe it just needs a good long ride.

AX100 is a two stroke, they normally smoke, what type of two stroke oil are you using ?

be careful. don't assume the mixture is off, they are largely set & forget.
two things to check.
1. that the cable going into the pump isn't hung up half out of the cable adjuster on the engine (pulling the pump on too far).
2. that the gearbox oil isn't low (indicating that maybe the seal is leaking gear oil into the engine.
But far most likely is that small commuter bikes get an oil residue build up in the pipe that will continue to smoke even if you ran no oil (until the engine died).
Read up on cleaning pipes, do a search has been covered.
Sorry? castrol active 2T? (not 4 T obviously)

For a manual did you check this thread http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php?t=10556 to see if there is one in there somewhere?
