Yeah, banditrider posted that up the other day in the Manawatu RNR thread.
Thought they should've gone for the 8.3ltr, as the 8.0ltr may be a little under powered.

he, he.. The torque when it starts nearly throws him off balance.
Would be interesting to see it go round a corner.

Thats a pretty clean job too. :apint:
I wonder if it has a sticker somewhere saying "Up ya bum Triumph".
Ten into two sounds a lot faster than four into one!

This is built by the guy who tacks extra cylinders onto Kawasaki two strokes - makes them 4.5.&6 cylinders. Also has made a V12 Kawasaki -two Z1300 engines mated on a single crankcase.

Yep, I have a 2Wheels article on the V12. It was really well done.
A quick google later: http://www.motorcyclistonline.com/features/v12_custom_kawasaki_2300cc/index.html

Just a matter of more really haha. Its about 5 litre at the mo but the 406 is 6.7 ltrs which will add a lot more torque as well as hp and physically the motors are the same size out side so will bolt straight in.Actually im thinkin about adding two turbos as well just for the hell of it which would easily make 700 hp possible without any drama. Not necessary i know but what the hell.

the fact when that motor is a 1700kg car it does 0-100 in 4.8 seconds......but when its in a 500kg? motorbikes it would be abit too much too handle on the road
personally i think it looks cool and is very well done, but that engin is jus too big

From an engineering point of view he's done a beautiful job.

Agreed that it has been built really well but it's a gimmick innit? Notice when he takes off it just idles away before he starts to acc? It must handle like a boiled egg in a puddle of oil! At no point does he give it any welly, which is the main reason I watched it really!

Heh heh know what you mean but some of these guys give them the welly allright. Most people read 500hp and think jeez thats a lot but dont really realise just how much of a lot that is. Any bike with more than twice the hp of a GP bike is something else to ride.
Really big hp on two wheels is just hard to get your head around if you havent ridden anything like it before. The point of these bikes is not about making a sport bike for racing round corners anyway and no point comparing these type of bikes with sport bikes etc. Not way practical and have their oddities but they're just a hell of a lot fun to ride and with a big twist of throttle downright scary/awesome.

That thing is effing ugly. Would be fun in a straight line, corners may be a different story I'm guessing :P
