Hey fark forgot I had put this on here.
The bike has no road gear, race bike through and through and yes it is a pant load of fun for not that much coin. Due to a recent sale of another bike I'll be racing this one till it sells as I am still dead keen to get into F2 but need to sell this one before stepping up, 5 bikes in the garage is our limit.
Cheers

Forgot to mention that since I'm a guy who likes to give i.e. Fat like Santa and cannot fit into them anymore without looking like a well stuffed sock, I'm going to offer the matching one piece QMoto leathers for the bike and a pair of well used size 44 Alpinestars boots as part of the package.
I also have a brand new set of wets that could go as well if the O.N.O. part of the price was ignored.
Honestly the GF just got an R6 and when she passes me I'm going to cry.......a lot:weep:......I need a 600, or maybe I should learn to ride better and go faster, nah screw it I need a 600 then I can crash harder

Honestly, I'm really keen to move this bike on, I've just bought a new project this morning and it is sitting on my trailer out the front of work so I need to move this one so I can afford the bits the new project needs.
I poo you not when I say the bike is sound, really good giggle on track and not too much stress if you chuck it down the road:Oops:

I have today removed the rear suspension and front forks and will be sending them to Robert Taylor for a service. I'll put them back in as soon as I get them back from CKT, the bike is just getting better.

thats one of the SV650's that Shaun built a few years back.He put together a nice package 75 ponies from memory but not molested either so a bit of a cam bump and a bit of compression and it'd be a reliable 80hp.

It's a very nice bike to ride. From memory it's a standard GSXR front end with an Ohlins in the back.

Hey, thanks for those thoughts I really appreciate it, trying to get people to see what you are offering is a good deal is tough but I really like this bike and really glad someone can see it is good as well.
If I could keep my new project going and not sell I would, but putting a 600 on track is proving a little more expensive than I budgeted!!

No problem. It was great to ride at the track. No bad habits and well set up (Shaun knows what he's doing and the suspension components were never changed since then). The sag, compression and rebound were fiddled by the owners but that's it.
Only problem was Shaun's arse is too close to the ground so he had the pegs jacked way up and kept cramping others legs. Easy to fix though.

NO MT-- you just needed to take some HTFU pills is all. :2thumbsup
Mind you I aint much taller than shaun.
But anyhoo.
Andy You are underselling the bike. Its a fantastic start package into F3
In the right hands at club level it'll be right up the pointy end AS IT STANDS.
I'd even go so far as to say with about 1k spent on it it would be a top ten finisher in the nats

Guys, thanks is all I can say.:2thumbsup
There are quite a few go fast bits for SV's on trademe at the moment so someone with a bit of thought could really turn this into a weapon. Till then I'll keep on tinkering to keep it well maintained and updated.

Had a chat with Robert at CKT yesterday, looks like new front springs to suit a rider of 85kgs and updated rear shock valving is on the way.
Actually quite looking forward to riding it again at Manfield for Round 6

Ha brilliant, :2thumbsup: not as much pain as buying our new house is causing my plans of putting 2 600's on the track, got to sell the SV otherwise the missus rides my R6 till her bike is built and that takes cash. Yes I promised that she could have the R6 till I built her bike up from a write off:Oops:
Me not two smart...........

Spent yesterday in the garage and have now fitted the suspension back in after its trip to CKT, new springs front and rear and she is looking very sweet. Brakes are serviced and ready to roll.
Keen to move it to a new home although I will miss it, a whole load easier to work on than the project I have, I need smaller hands!
I've posted up a whole load more photos on TradeMe.
